Imitation porcelain tableware investigation

Imitation porcelain tableware investigation

On the occasion of the “3·15” coming in 2011, the International Food Packaging Association commissioned the Beijing Kaifa Environmental Technology Consulting Center to carry out investigations on melamine (melamine) tableware sold in Beijing supermarket chains and wholesale markets.

On the occasion of the “3·15” coming in 2011, the International Food Packaging Association commissioned the Beijing Kaifa Environmental Technology Consulting Center to carry out investigations on melamine (melamine) tableware sold in Beijing supermarket chains and wholesale markets.

According to the information provided by the association, there are more than 1,000 melamine tableware manufacturers in the country. However, as of August 26, 2010, there were only 28 enterprises that obtained QS production licenses, and about 100 production enterprises with export records, equivalent to 90. More than % of enterprises are illegally produced, posing a serious threat to food safety.

Bright tableware cracked

In the early morning of March 13th, in the office of Beijing Kaifa Environmental Protection Technology Consulting Center, faced with some samples of melamine tableware after cooking test, the reporter began to input some common sense to identify excellent and bad melamine tableware:

Urea-formaldehyde resin is only resistant to temperature of about 80 degrees, and the tableware produced by it is deformed, cracked or discolored, foamed, and has a pungent taste. The good tableware produced with pure materials was tested and steamed for 30 minutes according to national regulations and cooled for one hour. There was no change after repeated 4 times.

Urea-formaldehyde resins are synthesized from formaldehyde and urea. Formaldehyde is the second most carcinogenic substance in China. "Urea is a boiled ammonia, and the formaldehyde is also cooked. The taste is particularly unpleasant," said Dong Jinshi, secretary-general of the International Food Packaging Association and a well-known environmental chemistry expert.

At this time, everyone’s conference table has a variety of melamine tableware that have undergone cooking tests or “dews the truth” or “I am clean and clean”, and each of the two children’s bowls has one from the bottom. The big crack, but from the pattern of the little goats and bunny on the outer edge, it is not difficult to figure out how bright and beautiful they are on the store shelves.

The melamine tableware is also known as melamine tableware. Because of its durability, it has become the first choice for many parents to prepare tableware for their children in recent years. They can always be seen at the tables of kindergartens, schools and fast food restaurants. According to the standard, melamine tableware is produced from melamine resin, and it is forbidden to use urea-formaldehyde resin to produce tableware. However, from the previous review, in order to reduce costs, the use of urea-formaldehyde resin in melamine tableware seems to have become an "industry unspoken rule."

Good students are not afraid of the exam

More than 10 am, Beijing Yichu Lotus Supermarket Jinyuan Store. The investigation team bought 15 samples of porcelain bowls produced by Huizhou Wuhe Industrial Co., Ltd.

It was thought that the investigation team purchased the goods as an ordinary consumer. It was very easy to go to the scene. If the seller did not cooperate, sometimes it could not be bought. I only say 15 samples, because "only meaningful for the same type of product testing", sometimes even if you go to the warehouse to find, it is inevitable.

Even if the sample is sufficient, it is not taken from the shelf to the checkout counter. When the investigator has set the sample to be purchased, the representative of the production enterprise shall confirm the product on site, and the dealer representative shall also sign and confirm the purchase sample. "I am afraid of having a fake" is a common alert for both production and sales.

The reporter saw that the purchase of the "triple list" also includes a lot of information content of the product and its production enterprises, such as enterprise qualification, QS (quality and safety) certificate number, product quality inspection report and so on. For these, dealers must be willing, no, and sign to confirm.

Regardless of whether it is a dealer or a manufacturer, in the face of the investigation, the sentence should be said: "Good students are not afraid of the exam."

Fang Zhen, head of the quality department of Lotus Jinyuan Store, told the reporter after signing the purchase form. As the country has the QS system for industrial products, in addition to the qualifications of the company, the supermarket also pays attention to product information, including the QS mark. , product testing reports, and more. After the goods come in, the supermarket will check the goods again. The business administration department also has to go to the market every year to check. "In fact, not only melamine tableware, but also all the products in the supermarket, we have strict control over the qualifications of the company." Fang said.

"Put your products, do you not beat the drums?" In the face of the reporter's joke-like question, Li Yongheng, the representative of the "Wuhe" company who came to Huizhou from this investigation, replied with a smile: "We are a long time." I don't know how many times I have been checked!"

Looks the same

The reporter learned that although the melamine tableware in Beijing's big supermarkets looks a lot, but because of the different shapes and colors, a company sometimes has hundreds of products. Look closely, these large supermarkets sell melamine tableware from four or five companies, all of which have production licenses. But the last time the melamine tableware "storm" made people understand that the products of a certified company do not mean absolutely no problem.

In the two supermarkets, the melamine tableware of a certified company that was last identified was still on sale. The reporter was told that after the "storm", the company further subdivided its products into a category of "shelves", meaning that only fruits, skinned peanuts and other things that are not directly imported can be placed. There is a QS mark for food, and no "shelf". However, experts believe that the concept of "storage" is abstract and ambiguous: "Food is not a thing? National standards are only distinguished by food and non-food."

The company's products have a national authority test report. The problem is exposed to testing of items outside the standard. According to insiders, the new standard for melamine tableware has not yet come out, and whether urea-formaldehyde resin is included in the new standard is still controversial. At this time, all parties involved, in addition to waiting, can do communication and appeal.

When it comes to government departments, some business representatives are very cautious, but "testing standards are not perfect, and the wrongs have exploited the standard loopholes" is what they will eventually mention.

Dong Jinshi believes that the state should set up a special inspection agency to conduct inspections on questioning. “It’s not just testing the items specified in the standard, but the analysis of the product components.”

Li Yongheng told reporters that some enterprises not only illegally use low-cost raw materials, but also crafted indiscriminately. Although its products are sold in wholesale markets and small supermarkets, the “main attack on big supermarkets” such as “Wuhe” seems to be “unmatched”, but “they will affect the entire melamine industry. Consumers. I mistakenly believe that the entire melamine product will not work."

Zhao Liqun, the first representative of Beijing Huatai Imitation Porcelain Products Co., Ltd., which received the production license in China, repeatedly mentioned the difference between A1, A3 and A5 materials.

"The use of A1 and A3 materials is a "small industry rule", and such tableware will be cracked in hot dishes for 3 months."

"The materials they use are one ton cheaper than the one we use (A5)."

“Consumers don’t know, they all look the same. The visuals are similar, of course, they are cheap.”

The boss will be angry.

Run the wholesale market in the afternoon. Xinfadi, Yuegezhuang, Jinxiu Land...

The reporter saw that the “Wuhe” imitation porcelain bowls purchased in the supermarket each sold for 5.9 yuan, while the products that looked similar were only sold for more than two yuan in the farmer's market. The same orange-red small bowl, a general enterprise product sells 2.5 yuan, while Huatai sells 3.6 yuan. Behind the price difference is often the difference in materials.

The reporter was told that, in general, the deeper the color, the more likely it is to have problems, the deeper the shape is difficult to process, and the problem is easy to cause. If they look particularly bright, be careful: "That is a layer of glare to cover the material itself. It's like a person rubbing too much powder on his face, white (bright) Unnatural." Zhao Liqun said.

In fact, the producer dealers are the same. If he knows that his product is ok, the investigator can easily get a match. On the contrary, not only can interviews, records, and photographs be done, but people who go can't get together. Be careful when you ask questions. In this case, not only the purchase of the sample can not be confirmed, even the invoice of the sample may not be available. If you are really seen by the other party, you may not be able to buy samples at all.

In the Yuegezhuang wholesale market, I met such a seller.

The young man who looked at the store first said that the boss was not there and did not sell the goods. Finally, the female boss was found. After several weeks of buying samples, the female boss said that she would not leave any evidence of shopping at her.

"If you buy it, don't open the receipt, you open a list," said the buyer.

"There is no list, what are so many things?" The female boss said categorically.

"After signing is not signed?" After a while, the buyer asked again.

"To sign your own sign! Or you will not buy." The female boss said

If the sample is not tested, it is impossible to conclude that there is a problem with the goods in this store, but the next scene makes people have more "understanding" attitude towards the owner: Dongguan Heshun Melamine Products Co., Ltd., which has been looking down at the tableware. The sales representative took an orange-red imitation porcelain bowl and said to the reporter excitedly: "This product is definitely not my home. Look at this and there are raw edges, and all touches." "This is too much. We are doing it." Branded."

The reporter took the bowl and saw the letter HS and a chrysanthemum pattern on the bottom. The sales representative said that the bottom mark was indeed their factory, but it was used when the factory was built. It has already been replaced. According to her, in the face of counterfeiters, Heshun hid to hide, and changed several trademarks in a few years.

On the way to the market, the sales representative told reporters that industrial and commercial law enforcement can not find a needle in a haystack, and enterprises need to target. Once they found a family workshop in the northeast to do their products, and the result was that the "people went to the building" and the boss was very angry. "Like today, our boss will see you jumping up."
